Cereal

Well, the weekend came and went. Seems as if they go by fast just keep us guessing about the next weekend. Yesterday, we tried to give Lydia cereal for the first time. IT was sooo funny. She has to learn how to swallow which for them is big. But after a few times of spitting it out and me putting more in, she finally decided that that was enough and gave me a funny look and then shivered like she was very grossed out by what mommy was trying to give her. As Lydia and I were trying to work out the whole eating thing Daddy was right there taking pictures so that we could go on and post them to you. So hopefully I figure out how to post pictures to the blog. Oh well, today is a new day and we will try again. I must admit I was a bit nervous as I ventured onto this new big step of her life going from just nursing to eating real baby food. I sat back and just said another new step in her life and how time really does go by quickly. Then I am reminded of the fact that we are here but a moment and that we will spend more time in eternity than we will here on earth.
On another note, I have weaned Lydia off the wedges that she used to sleep in at night as well. So she can move all over her crib now. She doesn't move a lot though I think she still thinks she is sleeping in between them. She is still a lot of fun and she is such a great blessing to me. I will post again soon, Oh wait I guess the word should be blog, (Right Joel). Have a great day
